Ever since Apple released the AirPods, there has been a certain level of hype surrounding them. Apple, the innovators that they are, set out to change the way we listen to music when producing the AirPods, and in my opinion they have succeeded.
Since buying the AirPods, I have used them much more than expected, simply because of how easy they are to use. As soon as you remove them from the retail box, you’ll be set up and ready to listen to music in less than 30 seconds. They come with a full charge and equipped with a lightning charging cable. The simplicity of the AirPods are what make them so great; the AirPods themselves aren’t simple technology at all but the experience when using them is. Music stops when you take them out of your ears (and resumes again when you put them back in), they have an amazing charge time; 15 mins in the case gives you 3 hours listening time, and the feature that seems to be underappreciated with the AirPods is the strength of the Bluetooth. You can be in a totally separate room to your device and listen to the music with the same quality you’d get being right next to it. You can also use the AirPods with other Bluetooth enabled devices, including Android phones and Microsoft computers (which is very unlike Apple I know!).
Many of the other Bluetooth earphones I considered buying, none had the smart look and clean finish that the AirPods do; they are subtle and simple in design, but everyone knows exactly what they are. Other little features such as the magnetic case and being able to assign tasks to be completed with a simple tap of the AirPods really make them what they are, there isn’t a single stand out feature when it comes to them, as all the amazing little features often overlooked make the product what it is. I was at first hesitant when purchasing the AirPods as they cost me $212 in America, but I can safely say it is possibly the best $212 I’ve ever spent on myself.
So if anyone is wondering if they are worth the money, yes. Yes they are. The positive experience I’m having with my AirPods makes me wonder why I put up with wires for so long and didn’t buy them sooner! They are an incredible product, and definitely worth the money.
