Robots
Robots are advanced machines, and in the near future we expect that they will be sentient beings just as we are. This is exciting, but then it is also a scary reality; Stephen hawking believes that robots will be the end of human life.
Nanorobots
Nanorobotics is an emerging technology field creating machines or robots with components that are near the size of a nanometre, an unimaginably small scale. Nanotechnology is constancy advancing, and in the future it could be used to treat diseases and make complex structures such as simple object to even houses. In the future, advancements of nanotechnology include the nano bots working at a cellular level, curing diseases, repairing cells, and killing harmful virus’ and bacteria.
Car production
Over the last three decades, vehicle factories have been almost taken over by by robots. The average factory contains hundreds of robots working on automated production lines, with one robot for every ten human employees. On an automated production line, a vehicle chassis on a conveyor is welded, glued, painted and put together at a sequence of robot stations.
Packaging
Industrial robots are also used extensively for packaging of manufactured goods, for example for taking drink cartons from the end of a conveyor belt and placing them into boxes, or for loading and unloading machining centers.
Electronics
“Mass-produced printed circuit boards” or PCBs, are manufactured by robots with great accuracy. These robots can put together and place hundreds of thousands of components per hour, far out-performing a human in speed, accuracy, and reliability
