Clash of The Titans on Monday Night
Well, week three is upon us already and there are a few choice games to look forward to, capped by a metaphorical “Clash of the Titans” on Monday night as the reigning Super Bowl Champions the Chiefs take on the Ravens in what should be a cracker. Head to head could go a long way this year with only one first-round bye so there is a lot to play for even at this early stage. It also pitches two of the most exciting young QBs against each other
Clash of the Veteran QBs
There are a few notable Sunday games but for us, the big one is Green Bay travelling to the Bayou to take on the Saints for the much-anticipated shoot out between Drew Brees and Aaron Rodgers. New Orleans will be fired up for this one following their shock loss to the Raiders in week two, and with a revitalised Tamps in their division, they know they can’t afford too many slip-ups. This one could come down to who wins the turn over battle.
The nights other big game sees Dallas travel to Seattle. The Seahawks will be without their normally rancorous crowd, however, they have looked very good in their opening wins thanks largely to some Wilson magic as the defense has been unusually generous so far. This could be another shoot out given that Dak Prescott seems intent on justifying his eye-watering pay rise!
Finally, we are looking forward to the interconference clash between the Rams & the Bills, who are hoping to capitalise on Tom Brady’s departure and win the AFC East for the first time since 1995. Current QB Josh Allen wasn’t even born then! This is their first proper test and if they come through it, maybe they are for real.
