Ok it happens to the best of us, we all make mistakes but how the schedulers thought that out of the slate of games this week this one was worthy of the Thursday Night airing will forever remain a mystery. But in these strange, pandemic filled times lets be grateful we have football (even if it is largely behind closed doors) and who knows it might surprise us. So why might it prove interesting enough to sit up for (we in the UK it’s on at stupid o’clock in the morning)?

A Battle of Cult QBs
Jags QB Gardner Minshew is a bit of a fan favourite in Florida after having a comparatively successful rookie season in which he became the first Jags QB to score 3 TDs in three consecutive games. His flamboyant style and famed Mustache has granted him cult status and so far this season he has played pretty well. He is up against one of the leagues most loved journeyman QB in Ryan Fitzpatrick, or Fitzmagic as he is better known. The beauty of Fitz is that he tends to be either good as in last week against the Bills where he threw for 328 yards or bad as against the patriots where he threw 3 picks. So looking for positives for the neutral you have the young gun up against the veteran.
Anything else to say about the game? It should be fairly high scoring given neither defense seems to be clicking yet and both QBs have a penchant for throwing interceptions. We are also keen to see how the Jags 2020 1st round pick out of Florida CB CJ Henderson gets on. We put him on our shortlist for Defensive Rookie of the year pre-season and so far he seems to be adjusting nicely to the NFL.
Prediction:
We are going with Fitzmagic to prevail. Dolphins by 7 points.
