NFL 2020 Week Four Can Anyone Stop The Chiefs?

NFL 2020 Week Four Can Anyone Stop The Chiefs?

Week Four is upon us and the Broncos have started the week off with their first win on Thursday night. which means one less team with a losing record and already only six teams have a 100% record. Is it the empty stadiums, the scheduling, or are the pack catching up to toe elite teams this year? Who knows, but it has made compelling viewing and four of those unbeaten records are on the line a this week.

Two will last at least another week thanks to the Steelers Titans game falling victim to the virus. That is now slated for 25th October.  So on we go with our brief preview of Sunday’s matchups stating with those four unbeaten teams (all of whom we expect to carry on their runs).

Seattle Make The Longest Trip In Football.

The Seahawks are on the road, defending their unbeaten start against The Dolphins who picked up their first win last week thanks to some Fitzmagic. We doubt they will find the Seahawks defense so generous though and we fully expect Russel Wilson to light things up and get the win as reward for their 3300+ mile journey. Just as well the planes are still flying as it would be a good 48-hour drive each way!

Josh Allen Shining in Buffalo.

The Bills are also on the road, heading for Las Vegas and a date with the Raiders in their nice new stadium. Buffalo are top of the AFC East but have not looked over convincing in their last two wins which have come largely thanks to some inspired QB play from Allen, and this is not going to be easy.  The Raiders started 2-0 with good wins over NFC South sides, however, their weaknesses were exposed by New England who ran all over them. Expect a passing shoot out in this one and the team with the least turnovers will probably win.

Monday Night Should Be Fun

The remaining two unbeaten teams playing this weekend play on Monday Night with the Packers entertaining this season’s kings of the fourth quarter collapse Atlanta. This should be a fun high scoring game, however, the only likely bright spot for Falcons fans is that they shouldn’t face a harrowing final 15 minutes this week. The game should be pretty much over by then.

The Chiefs & Patriots game was scheduled for Sunday but with Players testing positive for COVID-19 it has been switched to Monday, and with cam Newton & Rex Burkhead out for the Pats Kansas should go to 4-0 quite easily. If as is highly possible they meet again in the postseason with both at full strength it might be a better game.

What Else is Worth Watching?

Well Tampa are now on everyone’s radar thanks to Tom Brady looking to show the world there is life after Belichick, and so far so good. This looks like one for the neutral to enjoy as the Chargers appear to have discovered their new franchise QB in Justin Herbert so expect plenty of yards through the air and points too.

Speaking of yards through the air, watch out for Dak, who is on a mission to prove that the Cowboys did not completely lose the plot with his contract extension. He is doing his bit but he needs the Defense to step up. By the way, did you notice that the Browns are 2-1 going into this game? That’s their first winning record since 2014!

Finally we will leave you with the eagles Travelling to the 49ers, who look to be having a Super Bowl hangover. They are 2-1 but both wins have been against the two worst teams in the NFL. This is a bit of a test and if they were to lose this one then they might struggle to get out of what is shaping up to be a very goon NFC West.

Anyway here are the weekends remaining fixtures with our predicted winners in bold.
