Its a repeat of last seasons divisional playoff to open the 2018 NFL season as the reigning SuperBowl champions the Philadelphia Eagles take on The Atlanta Falcons in the opening game. In Januarys meeting, Atlanta lost 15-10 despite having plenty of chances, including a First an goal late in the game, which they came away from pointless. Nick Foles who will be in a QB again as Carson Wentz is still injured.
Although they were both playoff teams this may not be the most attractive of games to open the season, and it is probable that it could be another close low scoring affair. The bookies have both amongst the favorites but as you may have read in our pre-season predictions we have both failing to replicate last seasons achievements and we think there is a good chance that neither returns to the postseason.
Result wise we expect Philly to win by 7 points or less.
