The Arizona Cardinals began their offseason conditioning workouts on Monday, and despite all the rumours Josh Rosen not only turned up for work, but he was reportedly the first player to arrive!

Given that players rumoured to be on the trade block have often skipped offseason workouts in the past (i.e. Duke Johnson who the Browns recently traded) Rosen’s appearance either indicates a softening in attitude towards him by new coach Kliff Kingsbury or that he is a man of character.
Either way, it was a smart move on his part and either the Cards will decide to put the distraction behind them and move on with him or a team who has been linked with him (NY Giants) or should be giving him the once over (Dolphins) will know he is at the very least a player who won’t shirk his responsibilities.
Wherever he ends up playing in 2019 that team will have a leader in the locker room.
