Former Wasps Rugby Union player and 2013 Rugby Players’ Association Players’ Player of the Year and the Young Player of the Year Christian Wade is now a member of the Buffalo Bills thanks to the NFL’s International Player Pathway Program. Formerly a Winger, Wade will most likely play running back for his new team, and although he is a long way from being a starter he will be on the practice squad and have a chance at making the final roster. It will be interesting to see how he fares in comparison to the Bills incumbent RB stable which includes highly regarded veterans, Frank Gore & LeSean McCoy. We don’t expect to see him starting this season but if he recaptures his 2012-13 season prowess he could be one to watch.
