With this coronavirus outbreak, there has come a lot of news articles about the virus and a lot of cases that were caused by people around the world not knowing about the virus at all, not knowing what the symptoms were and thinking it was a major cold and or flu but now we know what the symptoms are and we can prevent this spread from happening, however this issue will now be addressed by the Queen. This issue has been addressed by the PM Boris Johnson and others. This will be done and dusted once the virus starts to slow down!
The Queen will be speaking to the nation on Sunday to address the current outbreak that is happening right now. This will be her fourth special address in a time of crisis during her 68-year reign! She will live on broadcast on TV and Radio at 20:00 BST. She recorded a message every Christmas but these type of broadcast are very rare. This announcement will be taken place when the number of people that have died from coronavirus in the UK is 3,605. This will be taken place on TV or Radio so make sure you tune in!
The other events that the Queen has spoke upon is the Queen mother’s death in 2002, ahead of Diana, Princess of Wales funeral in 1997; and during the first Gulf war in 1991. She will always address and issue when there is something to address, however this is a huge matter that needs to be taken seriously.
