Covid-19 is still causing issues for everyone around the world, many places are still getting over 50,000 cases of Covid-19 a day and this number is only getting higher… Now, a new variant has been discovered and has been given the name Omicron!
Not much is known about this new variant, all that is known is that it can take people to hospital and can put them in critical condition! Same way as Covid-19 did, Omicron can sweep the nation and the UK have already got patients in hospital suffering from this!

Yesterday, the UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson addressed the new virus and said everyone must get the Covid-19 booster jab to try and fight against the new variant and if you haven’t been given the vaccine, the PM urges you to get the vaccine to protect you and your loved ones. Alongside this, the PM has announced some new rules to try and fight the spread of Omicron, known as Plan B.
- PM Urges you to get the booster vaccine within 3 months to secure protection.
- Fully vaccinated people will be asked to self isolate for 7 days and take a lateral flow everyday.
- Work from home if possible.
