Currently, the world is still in this worldwide pandemic, more than 100,000 people infected a day and more than 8,000,000 people have had the virus right now, and maybe more than no one knows about since the virus is incredibly hard to understand! The UK is currently slowing down, meaning no more than 1,500 cases a day and the numbers are going up and down each day, fewer deaths, and more. Prime Minister Boris Johnson has introduced more rules and got rid of some others, however, there is one rule that everyone wants to go. This rule is known as the social distancing rule.

This rule makes it so everyone, unless they live in your household, must stay 2 meters apart, making the spread of the virus slow down and allowing people to stay safe and well away from the virus at all times, however, with the most recent rules in place, some people think there is no need for this to be a rule anymore. The rule is simple and may not need to be in use again. The levels have gone down as lockdown is easing up, however, this could very easily go back up to a level 5 and the UK could be back in lockdown. There are a lot of things to consider before the social distancing rule is taken out or maybe improved, since the virus spreads between anyone and everyone.

Tuesday could be the day the PM Boris Johnson announces more improvements to the rules and more relaxing times. Meaning more things could reopen and more rules could be abandoned. For example, the 2-meter rule could be abandoned and according to sources, PM is looking to reopen pubs but as long as they follow the rules and guidelines handed to them. Is this too soon?
