Last month, Lukaku revealed a shocking secret about a potential move to the Italian league and stated that this would be a “dream” move for him! He’s been in the Premier League for some time now and believes it’s time for a change in location. He has had offers from the Italian league and the Premier League, however since he wants to go to the Italian league, it’s most likely the Premier League offers will be dismissed. The Manchester United forward will most likely be leaving in the summer and could start a fresh new season at some big clubs in the Italian League!
One of the clubs that are desperate to get their hands on the Belgium striker is Inter Milan! Antonio Conte will be taking charge of Inter and wants to sign Romelu Lukaku and Victor Mose. The former Chelsea boss will be taking over Inter and replacing Luciano Spalletti as manager! Conte has had his eyes on Lukaku for some time now and even in 2017 he tried to secure the striker at Stamford Bridge, however he decided to move to Manchester United in the summer and Chelsea went for plan B… Morata! Conte will be making sure he signs the Belgium striker this time round.
This season in the Premier League, Lukaku hasn’t been the best in terms of goals, overall he has been involved in 96 games and only scored 42 goals, however this season alone, he scored 15 goals and didn’t manage to find the back of the net in his final 8 games! Many fans believe he was a waste of money and a massive flop. Lukaku may find his run of form when he moves to the Italian league, he may not have been able to adapt to the way Manchester United play!
