England Getting Better?

England Getting Better?

For many years, England has been known to do well in the qualifier and will manage to get through into the world cup or the euros from the qualifier, however they never seem to do well in the world cup or in the euros. They normally manage to get through the group stage, even at times they don’t, and lose in the round of 16. England are one of those teams that do well in one stage and lose in other stages and lose at the highest stage of them all, however this is changing by the looks of it!

World Cup 2018 was the start of something great for England, they started in a fairly easy group with Tunisia, Belgium and Panama. They managed to win 2 out of the 3 games and made it through to the round of 16 and managed to get to the semi-final and looking promising then lost to Croatia 2-1, even managed to score a world class free kick. Kieran Trippier was the class player that scored that free kick. After this, this seemed like England have improved and everyone is looking forward to the Euros 2020 when England go through and could win their first Euros cup.

The Euro qualifier is going great for England so far, winning 3 out of 3 games, currently unbeaten and we are seeing a whole new team out there with some young players even getting a shot at the top. Declan Rice and Mason Mount to name a few young players, however there most recent game showed us all what England can really do. Beating Bulgaria 4-0, with Harry Kane getting a hattrick and Sterling getting on the score sheet. England are showing promise and showing the whole of England what they can do! Will England be able to win the Euros?
