England will end 2018 off 5th in the FIFA world ranking! England have been an up and down team over the past few years, doing well to qualify for all the major tournaments, then slipping when they go into them! This year however, ended differently. England fans believed that they could finally win the world cup! Even though football didn’t come home this year, the players earned respect for finally giving the fans what they wanted to see! England have improved so much since they last few world cups, Garth Southgate has made England fans proud! No one expected this from England this year, however after that performance, fans believe that England can not only win the world cup next time, they believe that England will have a huge chance in the euros in 2020! England have put their best performance in this year’s world cup, let’s hope they do the same in the Euros!

Somehow, the World Cup winners France are not ahead of Belgium in the FIFA World Rankings, Belgium are currently first in the FIFA world ranking, France are second even though they won the world cup and they beat Belgium in the Semi Finals of the world cup as well! France deserve to be top of that list! Next few years we will see dramatic changes with this list, for all we know, we could see the likes of France and Spain near the bottom of the list… They will most likely stay at the top! Where will England be in the next few years?
