We have had a very an interesting week of football! None of this will be included in the other articles, this is all the football news we haven’t covered this week and will be covered every Thursday. There has been a lot of ups and downs this past week. Legends retiring, players getting injured and other, but also had some amazing stuff, like potential new world class players! This will only include breaking news and some important news as well! This will include everything, from the Premier League to the La Liga! Only 3 or 4 Topics of the week, that I didn’t mention throughout the week!
Gareth Bale Under Threat!
Since the main man himself, Cristiano Ronaldo, has left Real Madrid, it’s given Bale some more match time to prove that he is worth while and has the potential of being there top player. He was class at Spurs and has shown he can provide Real Madrid with the same class; however, Real Madrid haven had the best of forms recently, losing 5 games in a row without Ronaldo shows they use to be a one-man team! This isn’t the case! Real Madrid have found themselves a brand-new player to match Ronaldo! His name is Vinicius Junior. He has shown Madrid what he can do for them in the under 20s league and deserves a chance to play for there first eleven! This could mean Bale with be taken back to the bench! Will they regret not playing the Welsh Winger?
Neymar and Mbappe Injured!
PSG have managed to get 2 incredible players, signing Neymar for Over £200 million and Mbappe for £100 million, but PSG have confirmed they are both currently injured! This could mean that they could lose to Liverpool due to them losing there two best players! Neymar was injured only 8 minutes into his game with Brazil, he sustained a right adductor sprain! As for Mbappe, he has managed to get a bruised right shoulder from a nasty fall! Almost looked like he broke it in the video! Mbappe was very lucky to not have been injured worst than he did! He is up for the Ballon D’or as well! Will he win it? Or Modric? If PSG win the game against Liverpool without Neymar and Mbappe, then PSG have done extremely well!
England’s Current From!
England have impressed us all this year. Reaching the semi-final of the World Cup, Reaching the Semi Final of the Nations league and managing to become the best national side in Europe! Gareth Southgate is one of the best England managers we have ever had. We are all so proud of what he has managed to achieve and can’t wait for the Euros to start. People predict that England will finally win a trophy, since we have hyped up England for so long and not gain a trophy to show for it! Could the Euros and next World Cup be ours? With Harry Kane’s current performance, yes, we can we it all! It’s coming home!
Ballon D’or!
The Ballon D’or is only a week or so away and a lot of people have said who is going to win it. Modric is the main name! Modric has performed so well this past year and could have a Ballon D’or to show for it, he won the best FIFA Men’s Player award and many people believe he will win the Ballon D’or this year! This could be a change due to Messi and Ronaldo winning the Ballon D’or for 8 years in a row! In my opinion, it’s between Mbappe and Modric to win the Ballon D’or since Mbappe has won a league title, made a record transfer, become one of the first teenager to be sold for more that £100m, and won a world cup! This could be a close one to call! Who do you think will win the Ballon D’or!
