Matthijs De Ligt is one of the brightest centre backs in all of football, and he is only 19 years old right now! Proving he could be one of the best centre backs in the world already and could be the same as Van Dijk if he keeps up his run of form. After an incredible season at Ajax in both the league cup and the champions league, there’s no shock that this teenager is on every teams list of players to sign! He could be better than both Sergio Ramos and Van Dijk if he continues and moves to a world class club already.

The Neverlands international has agreed personal terms with Juventus that could see him gain £10m a season with Serie A champions. At the age of 19 he can proudly say he is on his way to becoming the best centre back in the world! Agreed a 5-year deal with them as well! Not only this, according to Sky Sports Italy, there’s also a release clause added in with his contract, up to £135m! Juventus will now be going into talks with Ajax and will try to secure the 19-year-old De Ligt!
Paris Saint-Germain are also wanting to sign the 19-year-old and are currently in talks with Ajax about signing him already, but right now, it’s looking like he will be joining Juventus since he has already agreed personal terms with them! If De Ligt does sign for Juventus, this would be Maurizio Sarris first official signing for Juventus since moving there! Will the 19-year-old centre back do well in this league?
