Morata signed for Chelsea for £70 million and showed everyone that he was a flop! He was good in some games but awful in others! Recently, Atletico Madrid have been in talks about signing the Spanish Striker! He has been linked with other clubs as well but mainly Atletico! Barcelona and Sevilla have been interested in the past few weeks, however Morata would most likely choose Atletico since, that’s where he started his youth career at and would like to go back! Morata needs to find his form and maybe a move back to the Spanish league will do just that. Morata can score class goals and has talent but, the Premier League wasn’t for him. If he does move to the Spanish league, he may find his form again! He can produce goals, just can’t seem to keep the consistence in his performance!
Does Atletico really need Morata though? Once Chelsea signed Morata, they sold their best player, Diego Costa! Costa struggled to stay fit this season and managed to only score one goal in 11 games, also with the likes of Antonine Griezmann, he most likely won’t get much game time! Chelsea will have to sign someone new however since there main striker could be leaving for Atletico Madrid! Higuain has been on Chelsea’s radar for a few years now! He could be there next big player that sends them to the top of the league and to the Champions League final! Will Morata make this big money move?
