Xbox have seen the constant growth of the gaming community, and the question has been raised by many people and parents is gaming a safe environment for their children. So with this question Xbox head Phil Spencer has published an blog Microsoft explaining the importance of diversity and that the company will be putting more focus in combating the day to day toxicity online.

This blog tells us that they are getting the xbox are going to taking a much bigger approach involving in making Xbox a safer and more protected community and how the safety will look at every aspect and perspective when dealing with the toxicity online.

This is a big push for a company on Xbox as this will be looking into not just the Xbox community but also the communities within games that may link too high part of toxicity.

In their blog they express how important it is to respect everyone and how Xbox should be safe environment for everyone and that everyone should be respected no matter who they are.

Spencer is also want to create more tools on Xbox for players to suit their community and comfort level to their liking. This will help the xbox community feel safer online. They are also looking at the data from cities and the current diversity of the gaming audience.

They are also looking at the benefits of gaming for people with Alzheimer’s and autism, there has been a big connection between gaming and STEM educations which has led to this brand new safety- focus approach to make xbox a safer and more friendly environment for its gamers.

This will take a long time to achieve but it will help keep the community within Xbox much safer and happier with these new steps in the safety and the hopefully slow decline in toxicity within the Xbox community.
