There have been some pretty god awful pitches on Dragons Den, but this one really takes the cake.
His intentions were good, but his pitch was awful. I respect that he is concerned about road safety, but after watching the video below you will understand why this possibly the worst pitch of all time. Even the dragons started to lose their cool with him; and he wasn’t even being rude, he was just being a bit stupid in all honesty. For the entirety of the video Derek, the “pole-light inventor man”, seemed like he was lost and he didn’t know why he was there or what he was doing.
Some of the comments claim that this video is scripted, but either way it’s very entertaining and definitely worth a watch.
