The walking dead is finished for another few months, season 9 is over! Season 10 will be available in October, however not many fans of the show will remember what happened in this season! This season was the most hard-hitting season yet! A lot of main characters died, new enemies and new allies that were developed in the making of the show. A lot of fans will be on edge for the next season of the walking dead since this season was so hard hitting. Whichever path they decide to go down in season 10, fans will still tune in to watch this show! It may have some of the lowest ratings but, a lot of people still watch it! This will be a summary from episodes 1 to 16!
Episode 1 – A New Beginning!
2 years after Rick and his team defeated Negan in what seemed to be a losing fight, all the continuities were working together to try and ensure they rebuilt society. The Sanctuary however were suffering because they didn’t have Negan supporting them, so they start to act up and ask questions about Rick and Daryl’s leadership. After this, Rick took some men to a museum in Washington DC to try and recover some pioneering Supplies! As they were on there way back to the Hilltop, they noticed that the bridge was gone, wiped out! Zombies started to come, a brave young man by the name of Ken, risked his life to save the horses, however he ended up on the wrong end, dying to the zombies! Earls and Gregory blamed Maggie for the death of Earls son, so they attempted and failed to kill Maggie! Maggie ended up locking Earl away and killing Gregory!
Episode 2 – The Bridge!
Month later, after the death of Gregory, the communities start working on fixing the bridge that leads towards the Hilltop! While building this bridge however, several Saviours managed to escape and tried to start a new life. This also postponed the construction of the bridge, which was there main priority! Maggie was the Sanctuary’s only hope in survival, since she had most of the food! After a lot of persuading, she delivered them some food to the Sanctuary! While on the way back from DC, a herd approached them, Justin fails to sound the alarm in time and Arron was caught under some log, all hope looked lost for them until, Daryl helped them. Rick starts to resume progression on the bridge, Justin was banished and then abducted!
Episode 3 – Warning Signs!
After the death was discover about Justin, Arat goes missing as well. Saviours were auguring about the disappearance of their men, meaning the bridge is still not being constructed! After the discovery, they split into teams to try and figure out where some of the Saviours were going, soon they found out that Oceanside were taking them and killing them! Daryl and Maggie found this out! Oceanside decided to take their revenge on the Saviours by taking them one by one and killing them! After Arat, they promised not to kill any more of them! The Saviours decided to ignore Rick and confront Negan!
Episode 4 – The Obliged!
Ever since Negan was introduced to Alexandria, Maggie has wanted to kill him, mainly because of Glen! Jesus knew about this and instantly told Rick about her intentions of assassinating Negan! Once Rick knew about this, he tried his best to delay the process so that she couldn’t get to him at all! The Saviours stole some guns and confronted Carol about Oceanside taking and killing their men. Riot ensues! There was a herd of Zombies close by and they heard the gunshot and headed straight for them! To get the herd away from the workers, Rick took a horse to lead them away, however this didn’t end well as Rick gets impaled by a something due to the horse reacting strangely!
Episode 5 – What Comes After!
Rick, critically wounded from the event that just happened, had to carry on and lead the herd somewhere else! Not knowing where to lead the herd to, Rick decided to take them to the bridge and hope that the bridge collapses. During this Maggie decided to not execute Negan because he was worse off staying in the cell. Rick lead them to the bridge; however this didn’t work. He risked his life to try and help and save his people! After this incident, everyone thought Rick had died in the explosion, however Anne found him alive and took him with her on a helicopter going somewhere! Six years go by, Pre-teen Judith rescues a group of survivors from walkers!
Episode 6 – What Comes After!
After a lot of persuading, Judith managed to convince Michonne to help Magna’s group to the Hilltop! Rosita and Eugene were working on a radio transmitter that could help each community can communicate, however when setting it up, they were encountered by a strange moving herd! Henry was taken to the Hilltop to become an Apprentice blacksmith, however on the way down to the Hilltop, they were ambushed by some of the saviours and they stole all the supplies. Carol then later burnt them all and got everything they lost back! Carol finds Daryl living in the wilderness with his new companion, dog. He did name his new dog… dog!
Episode 7 – Stradivarius!
Michonne leads Magna’s Group to the Hilltop by refuses to travel all the way there, due to her fear of confronting Maggie! Maggie, however left the Hilltop to create a new community with Georgie, since he wanted to create one, which lead Jesus and Tara in charge so Michonne decided to take them into the Hilltop. While Magna’s group was scavenging some musical instruments, Jesus and Arron were thinking of making the Hilltop and Alexandria Closer! They see a flare shot from Rosita, informing them that she is injured and the whereabouts of Eugene! So, Daryl and Jesus go out looking for them!
Episode 8 – Evolution!
After Gabriel leaves Negan’s cell unlocked, Negan decides to escape from confinement. Henry started his apprenticeship but decided to leave the Hilltop to get drunk with some new friends and ended up being imprisoned for it! Magna’s group is accepted into the Hilltop; however, they are told they must earn their keep! Daryl and Jesus find Eugene; however, he tells them that Zombies are evolving, and they whisper to each other now! Michonne, Magna and Yumiko went down to help them out, but Jesus was killed by a walker stabbing him through the chest! The whisperers then surround them!
Episode 9 – Adaptation!
Michonne’s group manages to escape from the cemetery, with a new guest with them! They captured a young Whisperer by the name of Lydia! They take her to the Hilltop and try to get some answers about the Whisperers and how they work, however there wasn’t much luck! All she admitted was that her mother was still alive, and her people would walk among the walkers! Rosita tells Siddiq that she is pregnant with his baby. Tara allows Magna’s group to stay at the Hilltop after their brace efforts in defending Michonne! Michonne needed to get back and tell her people about the new threat that has happened. While all this went down, Negan went to the Sanctuary and then returned to his cell in Alexandra willingly after finding out it’s all gone!
Episode 10 – Omega!
Herny and Lydia were getting closer and closer as they carried on talking, Herny said somethings he shouldnt of said to her about the other comunities, so Daryl decided to release Henry from prision because of this and started to interigate Lydia some more! Magna’s group decieded to go against Tara’s orders and search for Luke! After a while of looking they abandon the search and head home, however there was a group of Whisperers waiting at the Hilltop, lead by the mother of Lydia Alpha, that demanded for Lydia!
Episode 11 – Bounty!
In a flashback, Tara and Jesus gave Ezekiel the Community Charter. In the Present however, Alpha manages to negotiate her way through and gets her daughter back! Daryl watches as Alpha treats her daughter like shes nothing! While all this was happening, Carol, Jerry and Ezekiel went to the movie thrater to try and find a movie light so they could have a movie playing at the Kingdom! Back at the Hilltop, Henry goes out of his way to search and attempt to bring back Lydia, but Daryl was not far behind him, also bring Connie!
Episode 12 – Guardians!
Henry manages to find Lydia, however got caught in the process. He was caught by Alpha’s right hand whisperer… Beta! In Alexandra, they have a discussion about them attending the fair, after this Michonne goes down to Negan and asks about his escape! Negan explains that hes a changed man but Michonne doesn’t listen and moves on! Alpha and Beta try to make Lydia Kill Henry, but before she had the chance to Daryl and Connie come out of nowhere to save the day and they escape with both Lydia and Henry!
Episode 13 – Chokepoint!
Daryl, Connie, Henry and Lydia manage to find a building they can hide in while the Whisperers are looking for them, they decided to change this building into an ambush point to try and kill some of the Whisperers. Daryl managed to almost kill Beta but didn’t quite kill him! The kingdom managed to run into some men known as the highwaymen. They threaten to take there supplies, however they managed to negotiate with them being able to watch a movie… they agree and help out! After the encounter with Beta, they run to the Kingdom!
Episode 14 – Scars!
An old friend emerges in some flashbacks of Michonne, the flashback takes them back to the time Jocelyn almost killed some kids, Michonne and Daryl had to fight there way through to get Judith back and Michonne almost lost her baby she was currently carrying in the process! Michonne went to tell Judith about this incident, however Judith remembers the whole thing. This came as a shock to Michonne. Judith and Michonne then decided to help Daryl and his group make it to the Kingdom so they can make it in time for the Fair!
Episode 15 – The Calm Before!
Once Michonne and her group make it to the Kingdom, they decided to have a great time at the Fair that was created by the Kingdom! All the members gathered together to settle a truths, all the communities sign a bit of paper to say they will always be connected and whoever starts a war with one community, starts one with everyone! There was something happening however, noises started to rise and the Whisperers started to enter the kingdom looking for Lydia! Some members went out on a mission to find where the Whisperers were staying, however they got caught! Alpha said they are not allowed to cross the border and that here friends were waiting close by… All the heads of the people they captured from making noise… they killed and stuck on sticks for them to see! Tara, Henry, two members of the highwaymen and an old women were all killed!
Episode 16 – The Storm!
The storm was soon coming after Alpha killed five of their men! Michonne needed to bring her people to safety but there was no way of doing it, as Alexandra were trying to find a safe and secure place to stay for the night until the storm goes! When Alexandra needed to move… fast. Judith went on her own in the storm to try and find Daryl’s dog, however instead of a certain someone that was meant to look for her, Negan went to safe her! Everyone ended up surviving the storm and Michonne ended up liking Negan… well some what! There was a tease at someone new coming into the walking dead as well.
