CatWoman or formally known as Selina Kyle is a known cat burglar around her home Gotham city and for her love of cats she made her first appearance in the comic Batman #1 ‘ the Cat’ in June 1940. She was created by Bill Finger and Bob Kane. She is known for being Batman most alluring love interest for her hate and love relationship which is shown though comics, animated series and within the Batman games. In 1993 Catwoman was given her own solo series of comics.
In the 1960s Catwoman introduced herself in a large audience with the Actresses Julie Newmar, Lee Meriweather and Eartha Kitt in the Batman television series and then in the Batman movie in 1966. The in 1992 in Batman:returns Catwoman was played by Michelle Pfeiffer. Then in 2004 there was a Catwoman movie which took a flop as it didn’t relate much to the actual character, in the movie she was played by Hallie Berry. Then in 2012 Anne Hathaway portrayed Selina Kyle in the Batman movie The Dark Knight Rises. Then in the series Gotham a younger version of Kyle is shown and played by Camren Bicondova in 2014 in each season. 
The only main animated series in which Catwoman appeared in is Gotham Girls which she co-started along side Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy, helpings them with crimes while also doing her own form of burglary. She also came across as easily being able to annoy Batgirl who was the superhero of that series. However her rules still stand she was a character who did bad for the right things however in Gotham Girls she didn’t always keep that maintained focus unlike in the movies and comics. However some may argue she was the leader of the girls as she always had plans and idea rather than her co-stars within the mini series that was based off the comics giving all of girls in Gotham more credit rather than the men.
She is always brought into the Batman Lego movies but doesn’t tend to get any actual speaking lines unlike Poison Ivy and Harley Quinn she given short little sections of her speaking in more of cat language as if she was not human. She also appears in the lego Batman games showing her bullwhip which is her most common weapon beside from her sharp nails on her cat suit.
In 2004 Catwoman was given her own game walkthrough while also being added too many Dc and Batman games. She made appearance in Batman Arkham city in 2011 where for some missions within the game you could play as her, within the gameplay you see some insight on her relationships with other villains, but due to her being so involved with Batman many people hate her or she stole from them. You also see a bit of an insight into hers and Poison Ivy friendship as in one of her first missions you find out that Ivy is trying to kill her as she was still mad at her but knowing why she was still mad is unknown till further on in the game. She then appears in the 2013 game the injustice. She makes then make three more appearances in other Batman game.
