J. K. Simmons (Jonathan Kimble Simmons) is an American actor best known for playing Dr Emil Skoda on the NBC series Law & Order and J. Jonah Jameson in Sam Raimi's Spider-Man trilogy.

J. k. Simmons - Bio

J. K. Simmons was born on the 9th of January 1955, in Grosse Pointe, Michigan, which is a suburb of Detroit. He is the son of Patricia and Donald William Simmons and is one of three of their children. At the age of 10 years old, his family moved to Worthington, Ohio. From 1970 to 1972, Simmons attended Worthington High School he participated in the extra-curricula drama, football, and choir. In 1973, they moved to Missoula, Montana, there, Simmons graduated from the University of Montana with a Bachelor of Arts degree in music. Later, Simmons moved to Seattle and became a member of the Seattle Repertory Theatre, which became the birth of his acting career.

J.K. Simmons is married to Michelle Schumacher who also shares a love of the arts. They have two children together Olivia and Joe both have involvement in acting a journey actively encouraged by their father.

Simmons' career truly started in 1991 and 1992 when he was cast on the Broadway show Guys and Dolls, and as Captain Hook as Peter-Pan. From there he appeared in several movies and TV Shows.

His Noticeable roles being in Juno, I love you nan, the Spider-man Trilogy and Palm Springs.
