Spoilers for Spiderman: No Way Home, if you haven’t seen it yet and don’t want to have the movie ruined, look away!
Spiderman: No Way Home was a massive success on the box office, with over $1.30 billion USD and was by far the most successful movie in Marvel history. The success of No Way Home proves that if they were to make a spider-verse happen again… the world would love it as it showed everyone the past two Spiderman’s, however there has been rumours of what the ending could of been like before changing the ending… A lot of fans would of been upset if this really did happen in the movie!
At the end we saw Tobey Maguire got stabbed but stayed alive after it… But according to sources, Venom was meant to be in the final battle with the other 4 villains. He was meant to be involved with all the villains and all three Spiderman’s however nothing much has been told about the ending battle with Venom involved, however Tobey Maguire was apparently meant to die in this movie, but they scrapped it so they can involve him in future projects. The way the final battle could of went if Venom was in it could of been like and how different the battle could of been.
A lot of people are confused to why they included Venom in the movie twice, but he wasn’t involved in the making of the film, and involved in the film at all other than the post credit scene. They could of added him into the ending battle or made a small story throughout the movie. There was a lot of room where they could of included Tom Hardy’s Venom, however leaving a piece of Venom in the MCU will make a great movie one day.
