Beauty and the Beast is a film I have watched multiple times a year since I was very young, like most children and adults I know all the songs and even some of the words. If I had to pick my favourite Disney Pixar film this would be the one for me.
The film is set in a small village on the coast of France mid-1700s. Belle is classed as a “strange girl” as she likes to read and learn about anything and everything, a girl in this time wanting to read and get an education was never heard off. The Prince or the Beast as he is known as is a selfish man who likes to party and only cares about himself, and because of his selfish behaviour and looking down on people he earns a curse on him and everyone in this castle by the Enchantress this also means that he and his workers where forgotten by everyone in the small town, though by the end of the film this all changes as the Beast becomes a kind and caring man with the help of Belle and her showing him how to live a better more gentle life.
Belle is a beautiful character for any little girl or boy to grow up watching as she shows young children that they can be different from everybody and yes people will judge but don’t change who you are just for the people around you.
This film means a lot to me because no matter how I am feeling it will always put a smile on my face like I think it does for a lot of people. Every time I watch this film I feel a lot of emotions like sadness, joy, anger and many more.
