Samsung Galaxy Fold “Ready” for Launch?

Samsung has gone all out on their most recent phone design to try and beat other brands such as Apple to the next big flagship smartphone, however one major issue occurred when unveiling this amazing foldable phone. The screen would break meaning the tablet side of the phone would be rendered useless. Early reviews got their hands on this device and found this massive bug that caused most users phones to break within minutes or hours of using it, Samsung claimed that they have fixed the problem and will be fine to launch now.

The Samsung Galaxy Fold was meant to be released in April; however, the launch was postponed due to the broken screen issue that many users faced. This issue needed to get fixed before Samsung released it and that’s what they did, well sort of. They have said they have made “improvements” to the phone so this issue may not happen again, however if someone is paying £1,603 or $2,000 for this phone you would expect it to be fully functional and with no issues other than maybe issues that can be solved with an update!

Improvements are extending a protective layer to make it clear that this shouldn’t be moved, made the hinge area stronger and with a new protective cap. So, they haven’t really sorted the issue that has been made, they have just tried to make it so no one will take it off and let them know they shouldn’t take it off. In reality, they haven’t solved the problem at all, they have just made it slightly harder to take off the protective layer and made it so they know not to take it off, not actually fixing the phone.
