As we thought Jesse James has signed with the Detroit Lions and part of this decision may have boiled down to the Circus in Pittsburgh which starred Antonio Brown & Le’Veon Bell. He spoke quite candidly about the situation at a recent press conference and last year compared the situation in the locker to the reality TV show The Kardashians, and is clearly relieved that he won’t have to deal with the drama anymore. This is a great signing for both the Lions and Matthew Stafford in particular who looked lost at times last year without Eric Ebron.
This also has some draft implications as it was distinctly possible that the Lions would have picked one of the two stud Tight Ends Hockinson or Fant at no eight had they not grabbed James. This might open up the door for divisional Rivals Green Bay to nab one (or Both) with their 2 first round picks
