The World Health Organisation, also known as WHO, has recommended that everyone should cancel holiday plans due to this new varient causing issues with spreading and many more issues. They fear that this new Omicron virus will spread to much and cause a lot of deaths as this virus is very unknown and very unlike other viruses. Covid-19 is extremely hard to predict what happens and what will happen with the virus and very hard to understand.
In the UK, over 10,000 people are suffering from this new virus, however the US is suffering worse with this new Omicron virus, with over 72% of cases being this new virus varient. Meaning that Omicron is the dominate one out of the two viruses. So this is showing this virus is very difficult to understand. Anything can happen as the UK has seen 3 lockdowns and this virus has still not changed the way the UK look at life as when the UK goes from 500 cases a day to 90,000 a day within a couple of months.

The World Health Organisation have seen this virus as a threat and this means that some action needs to take place to see a difference in this virus go down and to see the virus possibly disappear if that’s what could happen.
