Since the new variant has come out in the UK, people have been worried and scared of what this variant is, others are just thinking it’ll be a worse off cold, however, the UK is doing their research into this unknown variant and seeing if the booster jab will support immunity with this new variant.
UK research has said that the impact of the booster with Omicron could be proven to provide 85% protection against severe illnesses, which means you are more likely to get a mild version of this variant. This is great news if this is true, this means that if you get the booster soon, you will less likely get the virus and have greater protection from it.
