Chelsea legend Didier Drogba has announced he will be retiring from football! He was one of a kind! The 40-year-old footballer managed to score 164 goals in 381 appearances when playing for Chelsea, helping The Blues win the Premier League title more than 4 times and helping them win the Champions League in 2012! He also managed to secure 4 FA Cups and 3 League Cups to his name as well! From a Chelsea fans point of view, he was one of their best players ever, he was there best player in fact. Drogba will always be remembered by every Chelsea fan and player for being there leading goal scorer and helping them secure a Champions League title! If it wasn’t for his header in the 90th minute against Bayern Munich, Chelsea would of been knocked out! He has come out and said “I want to thank all the players, managers, teams and fans that I have met and made this journey one of a kind!” Ending his career at Phoenix Rising, he will most likely go on and help that club grow and even more!
