On Tuesday the 15th March 2022, Manchester United will go head to head with Atletico Madrid in the second and final leg of the champions league! Another big game all United fans will be dreaming they win as Manchester United have not been in top form considering they have one of the best players in the world on their team… Just like PSG!
The last leg ended in a 1-1 draw with Manchester United getting more possession, shots on target and better passing accuracy than Atletico. The start of the game made United fans think they have no chance of winning the game as a young talent by the name of Joao Felix scored the opening goal in the 7th minute.
In the second half, the last 20 minutes of the game, Anthony Elanga managed to make the game 1-1 with an amazing finish into the bottom corner of the goal, outplaying the defender and Bruno Fernandes with a brilliant assist.
The second leg however, is all that matters right now, as the winner of this will go on and fight for their chance to win the champions league. Currently the leaders are Chelsea FC, when they beat Manchester City 1-0 in the final.
Could this be Manchester United’s year this year? Or will they fumble over the pressure of possibly winning another piece of silverware?
