The Champions League is back with a bang, some of the most decorative teams are back into the world’s most prestigious awards in football history. The Champions League will be the most excitable event for footballers and football fans around the world.
The most recent game in the Champions League was in fact by a Premier League team and a German League team. Two of the best teams in both leagues went at it on the 8th of August in what seemed to be a closed-off game, however, this game turned out to be a disaster for one team in particular.
Chelsea went up against Munich. Chelsea was hoping to recreate history by beating Bayern 4-0 to make the score 4-3 on aggregate, however, this did not go according to plans with Frank Lampard’s team falling short and failing to produce more than 1 goal.
Tammy Abraham managed to score one and one goal for Chelsea was disallowed, making them know this is not going to happen, and if that was enough for them… the final score was 7-1 on aggregate. Chelsea need to improve there side for when they go into the Champions League next time!
