Currently, Lampard hasn’t had the best time in the Premier League, with him getting sacked from Chelsea due to bad form and now Everton is nearly at the bottom of the league with a loss to Burnley recently!
Yesterday, 06/04/2022, Everton was up against Burnley in the Premier League, this should have been an easy match-up for Burnley as they are currently 18th in the league and Everton is 17th. The odds were against Burnley, however, the 90 minutes showed who wanted out of the relegation battle more!
Burnley managed to pull through and win the match 3-2, which seemed impossible after Everton scored 2 goals in the first half via penalties and both scored by the Brazilian forward Richarlison. Burnley was the first to score in the 12 minutes but Everton scored in the 18th minute and the 41st minute!

Everton then made a lot of errors and mistakes leading up to the loss that caused Everton manager Lampard to be frustrated at the club as they are showing no signs of improvement and looking to be going down this season if they do not gain any good form!
This is what Everton Manager Frank Lampard said to BBC Sports!
” It’s the points isn’t it? We’re now a point ahead of Burnley. We knew the rules before the game if you win it you have a nice little gap. That’s the situation.
It’s football, in three days we have to recover for our next game. We had mistakes for their goals and mistakes in not being clinical enough to take the numerous chances that should have had us clear at that point.
But 2-1, the way we were playing in the second half was for us to go and score and make it 3-1. We don’t do that. Then we just concede from individual mistakes.”
Showing that he is annoyed and frustrated at how the match was not won by Everton or even drawn by them as he believes that Everton could have made the scoreline 3-1!
