Club chief executive Hans-Joachim Watzke has said that winger Jadon Sancho is “very happy” at the German side, despite being linked to a number of premier league clubs.
The 19 year old Brit has scored and impressive 14 goals this season, and been directly involved in a large number more; assisting 14 goals this season, too.
“I think he has the feeling that the club does have a good future,” Watzke told the BBC.
“In my opinion, I don’t think he wants to leave.”
The boss knows that there is definite speculation around the future of the winger, saying that its “not clear what will happen.”
“We have a very confidential relationship between us and him and his agents,” he added. “We will discuss it.”
Hans has also made it very clear that no amount of money offered to the club will make them consider selling Jadon at this point.
“It’s not a question of money,” said Watzke. “For us, it would be the best position if he stays at Borussia Dortmund.
“We have enough money. We want to have titles. I think this team has a lot more potential with Jadon than without Jadon.”
