Coutinho “Probably Regrets” Move to Barcelona!

The Brazilian international hasn’t had the best time in the Spanish club, a lot of fans believe that Coutinho has been a huge flop since moving to Barcelona and could have done better if he stayed at the club that made him: Liverpool! He moved from Liverpool to Barcelona in 2018 for a whooping £146m as he pushed for a transfer to any club. Since he has moved, he has struggled to regain his form and couldn’t do the same as he was at Anfield, however he has scored a few decent goals!

Coutinho was involved in the 4-0 remarkable come back from Liverpool in the Champions League semi-final, this was one part of his career he would want to forget about. Many fans and even Coutinho himself believed that Liverpool would struggle without him in their team, however they are even more successful than last year, coming 2nd in the league and only losing by 1 point and losing one game in the Premier League all year round! If Coutinho stayed at Liverpool for one more season, instead of moving to the Spanish League, he may have been in the Champions League final with them right now and could have had a brilliant season alongside it! He was remarkable at Liverpool, but now a flop and could be leaving the club for a Premier League club very soon.

Even though Coutinho hasn’t had the best season with the Spanish team, he could still improve and be known as one of the best Brazilian players in the world. He’s still very young and has potential to be up there with the likes of Neymar and Ronaldo. He just needs to improve his game and maybe move away from the Spanish league for abit. There has been rumours of him moving to Chelsea after the departure of Hazard. Hazard is on his way to the Spanish league to play for Real Madrid and Coutinho could be on his way to the Premier League playing for Chelsea. This is only rumours right now, but this could change in the future.
