
Robert Downey Jr.
Robert John Downey Jr. is an American actor and producer and is mainly known for his work in the MCU, Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Robert Downey Jr was born on the 4th April 1965 in Manhattan, New York City. He was the youngest out of two children in his family. His father, Robert Downey Sr. was an actor as well and a filmmaker, while his mother, Elsie Ann, was an actor that appeared in many of Robert Downey Sr.'s work. As a child, Robert Downey Jr. was surrounded by drugs, as his father at the time was a drug addict and allowed the American actor to have marijuana at the age of 6 years old. Downey Sr regretted this moment stated later, however, Downey Jr. later stated that drugs use became an emotional bond between him and his father.
During his childhood, Robert Downey Jr. had some minor roles in his father's films, meaning at the age of 5 he started acting in his father's films. Playing a sick puppy in Absurdist Comedy Pound in 1970. Appearing 7 times in Surrealist Western Greaser's Palace in 1972. At the age of 10, he was living in England studying classical ballet. After this childhood, Downey went to theater roles from 1983 to 1995.
He played in a lot of films during this time and managed to become a young cast for Saturday Night Live. After being in all this, in 1996, Robert Downey Jr had his career setback. He was arrested a number of times with charges relating to drugs such as cocaine, heroin, and marijuana. He even went through drug treatment due to this. He has stated that since the age of 8 he has been using drugs cause of his father. In 1997, he was sent to jail after failing a drug test and was in Los Angeles County jail for 6 months. But from 2001-2007, Downey Jr. was on the path of recovery and trying to get back on his feet.
After a hard childhood, hard times with drugs, and jail time, Robert Downey Jr. landed a massive role as Iron Man and started an iconic series which had his name from nothing to something! His life changed from 2008, becoming the biggest star in the new releases until his character was killed in Endgame.
