Right now, Disney are in talks about doing a reboot of the famous Movie known as Pirates of the Caribbean. Nothing has been finalised, but Disney have been talking about bring this movie back! Dead Men Tell No Tale was the last movie that was made in 2017 and managed to get $172.5 million from that one movie, alongside this, the whole series has managed to get $4.5 billion worldwide! One major thing can’t be unseen if this happens, no one can replace Johnny Depp as Captain Jack, however if Disney were to do this reboot, Johnny Depp wouldn’t be a part of it!
In my opinion, Pirates of the Caribbean was a fantastic movie! This was one of the first movies i enjoyed spending countless hours watching. From knowing what reboots have done to other movies, I don’t think it’ll replicate what the original movies did. I don’t think that they will get the same numbers or as many people watching it as they did have! Overall the cast of the original Pirates of the Caribbean can’t be replaced. The reboot in my eyes will ruin the movie!
