Ed Sheeran failed all his music subjects at college according to a document from the Academy of Contemporary Music (ACM) in Guildford. It shows that the singer received six F grades in his music. They included fails for songcraft and professional musicianship.

He started a diploma at the academy in 2009 but ended up dropping out when his music career started. A letter showing his results were sent to him a year later. The letter is now shown as part of a new exhibition. The Ed Sheeran Made In Suffolk exhibition, curated by Ed’s dad John, features many of the star’s personal items and memories from his early life and career.
Sheeran’s father, John, said his son was “disillusioned” when he quit his course after three weeks to be a support act for Just Jack.

“He then rang us [along with his wife, Imogen] to say that he was determined to go, even if it meant him leaving college,” Mr Sheeran said. “Neither of us were surprised. Ed was developing a fearless gut instinct.”
His father said his results were “hardly surprising as he never returned” to his diploma.
