On this day, it was International awareness day, this was made to celebrate and urge conservation of the endangered tigers. Not only that, its also the day to seek preservation and expansion of its natural habitats. Global Tiger day pretty much on this day. There are also other things happening on this day, especially in Waynesburg, Pennsylvania.

As it has for many years previous and according to records from the community and from anyone that has seen the record, it has rained on this day since 1796.
