Today is Micro, Small and Medium-sized enterprises day, a day designated on Apr 6, 2017, to raise awareness of the contribution of such enterprises to sustainable development. Member states are encouraged to promote this day by fostering research presentations, policy discussions, practitioner workshops and business owner testimonials from around the world in collaboration with public, private and nonprofit organisations.

In America, it is National PTSD day. Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) is a mental health problem that can occur after someone goes through a traumatic event like war, assault, an accident or a disaster. The National Center for PTSD uses this day to promote awareness of PTSD and effective treatments throughout the year. The day was created back in 2010.
