Who are UNESCO?
The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization, much better known by it’s abbreviated form UNESCO, is a special agency of the United Nations (UN). Its main aim is to promote world peace and security through international cooperation in the fields of education, arts, sciences, and culture. Headquartered at the World Heritage Centre in Paris, UNESCO has 193 member states and 11 associate members.
