Lockdown in a lot of places around the world are starting to ease up a bit, some places are starting to only have social distancing as a rule. Shops and pubs around the UK are starting to say when they are going to reopen but a lot of people around the world think lockdown was great at the start and now are thinking there was no point in it. There was a lot of benefits from lockdown and some negatives from this lockdown, however here are the benefits and negatives from lockdown in the UK and some other places around the world.
Benefits of Lockdown!
- Lockdown has been a thing in the UK for some time now and has allowed some people to think about what the virus has done and how it kills, thinking of this the virus has been spreading a lot when out of lockdown, now it is slowly spreading. Due to everyone being indoors.
- Coronavirus is only able to spread from touch and or speaking to them in front of you, therefore social distancing and lockdown was introduced, since then, the UK and other places have had less coronavirus cases and or deaths in general. The UK yesterday (03/05/20) only 3,000 infected and 345 deaths.
- People in lockdown are safe from the virus and won’t be able to get this virus, unless they go to the shop and the shoppers have it. Since some stuff is essential, it is harder than ever to get this virus.
- After lockdown is over, everyone will be back to normal, however this is what normal will be like for some time, therefore lockdown has shown us what the social distancing rule is like. Since we have been told that is staying till a cure is made.
Negatives of Lockdown!
- Lockdown is strange to think about, lockdown over a virus that is spreading like other viruses do, however some people never cared about lockdown and carried on with there normal live, however others have listened therefore no spreading.
- Lockdown has messed with a lot of peoples mental health’s, causing them to overthink while in lockdown after not being able to go outside and or go anywhere in general.
- Everywhere upon everywhere is shut, only shops are open and other stores are shut, therefore online shopping is the only way of shopping for some stuff. Some online retailers are off but others like some amazon products are still going.
- Italy have been in lockdown for sometime now, however they have said that lockdown is only just worse than death.
Lockdown measures are set to ease if the figures are slowing down in the future. Right now, everything is slowing down since everyone is following the guidelines and following the rules and regulations of what to do and how to do it. This outbreak will be beaten… but no one knows when!
