The number of infections in the UK is slowly but surely going down, even with the new Covid-19 rules put in place, that allows everyone to go and meet anyone they would like, however one rule remains the same until the end of this month. The rule regarding self-isolation has remained the same until the end of the month, meaning if anyone tests positive for Covid-19, they must still self isolate for 5 full days at least and wait for 2 negative lateral flow test results!
Reports say that the UK has had a massive decrease in cases recently with almost 500+ leaving the hospital, meaning more people are able to cope with Covid-19 at home than needing to go to hospitals. 41,648 cases of Covid-19 were reported on Monday with 35 deaths. The number of infections is going down, the number of deaths is unpredictable, however with the new rule regarding self-isolation does go through… This could mean more and more cases will rise across the UK, however, this may not be the case if everyone has been vaccinated to help prevent the virus from being deadly.
