The UK will soon be getting rid of two of the main restrictions to see if the UK can combat Covid-19 without anything stopping the virus! This has been one of the worst pandemics in the 21st Century and this could take a while to get rid of if nothing is done about it now. The UK have seen a massive decrease in cases recently and now has seen a massive increase again from 70,000 cases a day to 100,000+ cases a day again, not the best start to life without restrictions!
From yesterday, Thursday 21st January 2022, there were reportedly 107,364 cases confirmed of Covid-19 and 330 deaths overall. There is still a massive decrease in people being admitted to hospital, however things are still seeming to be on the good side of things with hospital cases and more, however if the cases continue to rise, there could be more and more deaths and more people getting admitted to hospital in the future!
