Hospitals all across the UK are “under enormous strain” after the growing number of people contacting Covid-19 in the past few weeks, making a lot of staff members stressed, and with the hospitals being overwhelmed, it’s believed that some places have had to say no to some A&E ambulance drivers!

Over the past week, 20 NHS A&E patients were made to find another place to get looked after, due to the number of people in the hospitals currently.

As of right now, hospital bosses are saying they are “very concerned” about the situation at hand, as Covid-19 continues to rise all across the UK.

Saffron Cordery, NHS Providers, represents hospitals have said this!

“We’re very concerned about the real pressures across the whole health and care system. A very high number of hospital beds are occupied, and combined with staff absences and severe workforce shortages, this means that trusts can’t recover care backlogs as quickly as they want to.”

“Ambulance services are doing everything they can in these extremely difficult circumstances, but the extra pressures are leading to growing delays to handovers to busy emergency departments.”

Meaning that with the rise in cases, it is hard to continue care for everyone as everywhere is now booked up. Making some A&E Patients needing to find another place to go. As there is no room!
