Over the past few weeks, Guernsey has seen a small spike in cases in recent weeks, this has been due to the fact that this is a small place in the world and could have a small population, however their are quite a few people being admitted to hospital due to Covid-19.
Guernsey is seeing a small spike in a while. The States said 372 people were known to have the virus which is an increase of 56 from last week.
There are 18 people in hospital with the virus. As of now, Lateral Flows will be available for free in Guernsey as they say they have “sufficient stocks to last until at least the end of this year”.
No one knows how this spike has happened, however Covid-19 rules has been put in place in some hospitals around Guernsey and even in the new hospital known as Princess Elizabeth Hospital.
