During this pandemic, we are all having to stay home and stay safe to save lives, this pandemic has been increasing everyday and will continue to as well, since this virus is known to be very fast at spreading, however everywhere has been trying to develop a vaccine and or drug to slow and or stop the virus as fast as it came. The UK has been trying to develop this as fast as possible since the hospitals are currently full of coronavirus patients. This could be the end of the outbreak if this treatment drug does work!
UK scientists at the University Hospital, Southampton has developed a drug that could treat coronavirus and could be what everyone is needing. The trails are set to take place and have results by the end of June, once they find out if this either slows down the virus and or cures the virus, they will be creating more and more of them and sending the across the world. There are currently a few effective treatments that help coronavirus and help the patients with there immune systems.

If this drug could work and we could be out of lockdown and out of the pandemic very soon, however since this pandemic has came about, this illness will be about for some time after and could have a second burst but with this drug working, no one will have to worry about the virus infecting them and having a chance to become infected badly in the future. The drug is a special formulation of interferon beta delivered to the airways when the virus was there, with the hope that a direct dose of the protein will trigger a stronger anti-viral response. Scientist are hoping this works within the next few weeks.
