Liverpool have been the best team in the Premier League so far, winning almost all their games and showing everyone that they can win the Premier League with ease! 3rd January 2019, Liverpool went up against Manchester City, fans thought that Liverpool would easily beat Manchester City, they thought since they did it on the 26th July 2018, and drew against them on the 7th October 2018, they thought this would be a walk in the park and get closer towards the title this season. However, Manchester City managed to get a win! 2-1 was the final score and many people believe this is still Liverpool’s year since they are still top of the league by 4 points! This is still there year, Liverpool fans can say, since they are still top and will remain top until they lose 2 games or lose 1 and draw 1! Right now, Liverpool have the best front three in the league, Mohammed Salah, who was named the best Premier League player last year and was in the running for Ballon D’or this year, Sadio Mane, who was in the running for African Player of the Year and Roberto Firmino, who recently won the 2018 Samba award, this award is only given to the best Brazilian players in Europe! So, they have one of the best attacks in the league! All players work together and play like a team. There was one moment that Liverpool fans will be thinking about in this match however; goal line clearance! Many fans believe to think it was a goal, others say the ball isn’t fully over the line. In my opinion, the ball isn’t fully over the line, so it’s not classed as a goal! What do you think?
