Chelsea’s Worst Transfers!

Chelsea’s Worst Transfers!

Chelsea have been one of the best teams in the Premier League, but recently they had a transfer ban and lost a lot of their best players, however there have been some unlucky transfers that every Chelsea fan would want to forget and never speak about again. There best transfers include Drogba, Cole and Cech, but these 3 players were flops for the club and a lot of fans wish they never spent money on them!

#3 Fernando Torres

Fernando Torres is one of the best Spanish players in the world, he will be known as a Spanish legend and will be remembered for what he did in the Euros, World Cup and for Liverpool! His time at Chelsea was better spent somewhere else due to him not performing at his potential at Chelsea. He missed an open net against Manchester United and couldn’t replicate his form at Chelsea. £50 million and took 15 games to score his first club goal! One memorable thing that happened was the Champions League semi-final goal!

#2 Juan Sebastian Veron

Juan Sebastian Veron was the player to get at the time, being the best midfielder in the world and could of ended up winning a lot of trophies, however he went to Chelsea and in his 4 year contract at Stamford bridge, he played 15 games. He really was a flop for the team and some Chelsea fans would like to forget about!

#1 Andriy Shevchenko

Big money signings for everyone, Shevchenko costs £30 million from AC Milan and the manager wanted him to replicate what he did at AC Milan, however the same as Torres, he failed to show this! He failed to reach 30 goals and was normally subbed off due to his performance. This will be the last time Chelsea will buy someone for big money!
