Video games nowadays are everywhere, kids are wanting to get the newest consoles that are available and are wanting to constantly play games. Some kids are even wanting to play games for a living which is easier than ever with new streaming platforms, it’s just the cases of getting the views and subscribers before getting paid.
Study shows that people who play video games for a long period of time, tend to be happier than those who don’t play games for a long time. The study is from The Oxford Internet Institute Research and the two games they focused on were Animal Crossing and Plants vs Zombies. This research was taken from over 3,274 gamers and all were over the age of 18. This could only be just if they did it on more games other than these two.
With this in mind, Parents should stop blaming games for kids behavior, depending on what happens, as this study has shown that gaming can make people happier than those who are not gaming, maybe with different games, the study would change but right now study shows that gamers are happier than those who don’t game.
