
The oscars are fast approaching so here is everything you need to know about the 2019 Oscars.

The Oscars 2019 will be held on February 24 2019 and will be broadcasted on Sky, for everyone in the UK the time difference means the ceremony will not air until late in the evening. It will be held at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, Los Angeles. Kevin Hart was the official host for this years Oscars however after backlash of some old homophobic tweets he has announced he is stepping down. Kevin Hart announced this by saying: “I have made the choice to step down from hosting this year’s Oscar’s….this is because I do not want to be a distraction on a night that should be celebrated by so many amazing talented artists. I sincerely apologize to the LGBTQ community for my insensitive words from my past.”
His replacement is to be announced.
